무더위도 감사해
찌는 듯한 더위가 계속된다
그래도 감사, 감사한 것은
이 정도면 견딜 만하다는 것이다
지구와 태양간의 거리가
이쯤에서 유지되고 있다는 것은
얼마나 다행한 일인가
태양이 이보다 훨씬 가까워지면
무더위를 견디다 못하여
살아남을 자 그 누가 있으리
태양이 지구에서 너무 멀리 있어도
견디기 어려운 저온으로 인하여
그 아무도 살아남지 못하리니
천지를 짓고 섭리하시는 창조주는
세상을 이처럼 사랑하사
이런 것까지도 다 헤아리셨구나
